Urban greenspaces and biodiversity
Project description:
Nicola uses large-scale datasets, including citizen science data, to research how birds and insects are affected by urban greenspaces. In an increasingly urbanized world, Nicola’s work has wide applicability for urban design and management globally. Nicola is also interested in human-nature interactions, and has contributed to high-impact journals and gained significant media attention for this research.
