Consolidation of expertise

The newly formed School of the Environment draws on a rich history from predecessor schools within the Faculty of Science – the School of Agriculture and Food Science, the School of Biological Sciences and the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences.

Our School was established in June 2023 to bring into sharper focus the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals relating to climate action, life on land, and life under water.
