Factors influencing mangrove tree growth and soil surface elevation throughout their life time.
Project description:
Evaluating the range of physical and biological processes affecting mangrove surface elevation, sediment accretion and mangrove tree growth throughout a variety of different aged intertidal systems. These long-term data sets collected from within Moreton Bay are required to understand the future survival limitations of these environments against sea-level rise.
