Understanding the polygenic connection between adaptation and speciation
Project description:
Charles is applying his knowledge of Machine Learning to explore the polygenic connection of local adaptation and speciation. He is also interested in using Machine Learning algorithms to uncover the underlying mechanisms of how various species independently adapt to similar environmental pressures, leading to the phenomenon of parallel evolution.
