Project title:

Conserving Biodiversity on Private Land under Climate Change

Project description:

Private land conservation is an increasingly vital strategy to meet conservation goals. However, the impacts of climate change, which affect outcomes for species on private land, may deem conservation efforts ineffective if not accounted for in policy design and implementation. My project focuses on assessing policy settings that can enhance the adaptation of biodiversity offsets and voluntary private land conservation to the changing climate. Additionally, I will also develop a model that integrate extreme climate events into spatial models of species distribution.
