Project title:

Devonian to Triassic arc modulation in the New England Orogen (eastern Australia)

Project description:

This project aims to understand spatio-temporal-geochemical changes in magmatic arcs and their relationships to fundamental geodynamic processes. To do so, the project will focus on the New England Orogen in eastern Australia, which records a long history (from the Devonian to the Triassic) of convergent plate boundary processes and arc magmatism. Using samples from both primary arc rocks and secondary sedimentary basins, the project will generate new data that will allow us to assess how arc magmatism was modulated in time and space.
