Project title:

Hyperspectral Earth Observation for the Monitoring of Seagrass and Coral

Short Project description:

My project aims to determine how new developments in hyperspectral remote sensing can be utilised in the mapping and monitoring of coral reef and seagrass ecosystems. By utilising in-situ hyperspectral sensing, drones and satellites, I aim to determine how to use hyperspectral information to upscale existing ecosystem monitoring programs across large spatial scales.
