Researcher biography
Ken Lyons was at the University of Queensland for 12 years. During that time he was founder and Director of the Australian Key Centre in Land Information, and a Professor and Head of the Department of Geographical Sciences. He has over 40 years experience in working operationally and strategically with geographic data. He is now the Principal of Spatial Information Services Pty Ltd (SIS), a firm he founded in 1983.
