Tree Selection by Rehabilitated and Relocated Koalas
Theme: Biodiversity and conservation science, Environmental management, Geography, Zoology and wildlife biology
Description: This project aims to:
1. compare techniques for interpreting tree use by koalas in novel environments and
2. investigate tree selection by rehabilitated koalas, released into a novel environment. The project will involve radio tracking, tree identification and vegetation surveys and scat surveys.
Additional Information: This project will be undertaken in Brisbane, transport is preferred but not vital. This would suit a student with an interest i environmental management and conservation.
