Dr Amy Zanne - Plant afterlife: stories from two decayers
Name: Dr Amy Zanne

Bio: Amy Zanne is an ecologist and evolutionary biologist interested in how biotic interactions affect ecosystem processes. Currently she is a Senior Scientist at Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies. Previously she held faculty positions at University of Miami, George Washington University, and University of Missouri, St. Louis. She had a joint postdoc at Macquarie University, University of California Berkeley, University of Minnesota and NESCent, as well as a postdoc at Tufts University. She received PhD and MSc degrees from University of Florida.

The School of the Environment Seminar Series (a.k.a. SENVinars) — held in-person on campus and online via Zoom — invites national and international experts to present their current research outcomes and priorities for disciplinary areas aligned with our School.
Our presenters include current research academics, visiting researchers, collaborators from industry and government.
