Project title:

Seascape Planning for Coastal Wetland Restoration

Short Project description:

This project investigates coastal wetland restoration opportunities in an urban case study region, with a focus on animal-mediated facilitation to enhance seascape restoration design. It combines spatial planning with ecological insights to identify restoration sites that maximise co-benefits such as biodiversity, water quality, and fish habitat. By examining how mobile species facilitate recovery across habitats like seagrass and mangroves, the research supports more effective, scalable restoration strategies.
