Bio: Dr. Jacqueline Loos is Assistant Professor for Conservation Biology at the University of Vienna (Austria), where she is heading the Justice and Conservation Lab (https://www.justiceandconservation.com/blank-4) since 2024. She previously held a Junior Professorship for Research into the Sustainable Use of Natural Resources at Leuphana University Lüneburg (Germany). Jacqueline holds a PhD in landscape ecology and studied environmental sciences (with a focus on ecology, environmental chemistry and nature conservation).

The School of the Environment Seminar Series (a.k.a. SENVinars) — held in-person on campus and online via Zoom — invites national and international experts to present their current research outcomes and priorities for disciplinary areas aligned with our School.
