Satellite monitoring of Australia's kelp forests
Project description:
I will be designing a workflow that uses satellite imagery to map kelp biomass across all of Australia's coastline. The resulting maps could then be used for ecosystem management, indstrial applications, and, to include kelp in Australia's carbon accounts and an eventual Blue Carbon economy.
