Project title:
Seeing and saving seahorses: An investigating into the syngnathid visual system for conservation
Project description:
My project investigates the visual system of seahorses, from the basic components through to function using I am using a range of techniques from molecular to behavioural. I am currently investigating the potential for seahorses to demonstrate pentachromacy (the ability to possess five colour detection channels).
