Project title:
The role of insectivorous bats as invertebrate pest predators in macadamia orchards
Project description:
My PhD research is establishing baseline data on insectivorous bat activity, diet, and invertebrate pest abundance across southeast Queensland macadamia farms. I aim to explore the role of bats in macadamia pest suppression and investigate practical strategies to enhance orchards to better support bats and their pest suppression services.
