Description: 

Studies in many species of bacteria have investigated mutations that confer resistance to antibiotics. This has resulted in the accumulation of large datasets that are difficult to understand without good visualisation tools. In this project, you will develop an interactive online app to visualise data on resistance mutations across many species of bacteria. This app will be useful to many researchers but will also be used as a tool for teaching.

Additional Information: This project is suitable for a student with a strong interest in data visualisation and a background in computer science (ideally knowledge of javascript and html). A background in genetics will be helpful but is not essential.
