Description: 

Coral reefs vary in geomorphic zonation and each zonation various in benthic assemblages.  This project will involve analysis of available benthic field data derived from geolocated photoquadrats distributed through geomorphic zones of coral reefs on the GBR. The project aims to characterise benthic compositions for those different zones in relation to the different reefs on the GBR

Additional Information: The honors project will be conducted within the staff and students Marine Ecosystems Monitoring Lab that is focusing their research on coral reef and seagrass habitats using field and earth observation-based methods.
