Project title:
Biocultural Fire Landscapes and management in Colombian Indigenous Territories
Project description:
This project examines how Indigenous fire knowledge systems and practices interact with multi-level governance frameworks to shape fire and landscape management in Indigenous territories in Colombia, understood as biocultural landscapes where ecological processes and cultural practices are closely intertwined. Through comparative case studies, it aims to understand how these interactions transform fire practices over time and how the shift toward participatory and integrated fire management plans is being conceived.
